I have now switched my food to Eukanuba's low residue wet cat food. I hope it will help me with my constipation problem. I didn't have a bowel movement today though. I better produce something soon. If I make a log my mama will tell me that she is proud of me.
My mama also bought me a bird feeder. She put it on the balcony so I can watch my bird friends. However, so far no birds have come to eat the food. Maybe, they will come tomorrow. I wish my friends Dragon and Ophie could come and visit me.

My Colon is Now Clean!
I am finally home. The vet said that I had a "huge and explosive" bowel movement last night and I had more today. I feel much better now. I'm just glad to be home. I'm thinking that maybe I should get a job to help my mama and papa with the vet bills. I'm not sure what kind of job I could do. Perhaps I could be a cat model or actor for weight control pet food. Anyway, I hope I don't have another constipation problem for awhile. It's getting expensive. My papa says he will have to do a couple hip replacements tonight to contribute to my medical fund. My mama also told me that she will have to hold off on shopping for spring and summer clothes because of my recent vet bill. However, they both said that it's ok because they love me very much and I love them back. I just hope my health co-operates. I'm frightened by the idea of getting surgery done and all the possible complications.

My Latest Constipation Episode
I'm sorry that I haven't posted for awhile. I haven't been feeling well lately. My chronic constipation is acting up again. I'm currently at the Downtown Animal Hospital. I really don't want to be here. I have tried many different options to make me "regular", however, nothing seems to be working. So the vet is going to do some blood work on me tonight to see if I can be switched to a different kind of food. You see, my current high protein food controls my blood sugar levels so it may not be possible for me to switch foods. The other option is surgery. The procedure is called a subtotal colectomy, which involves the removal of most of the colon and then reconnecting the remaining ends. However, there is the risk of surgical complications or a poor outcome and then...I don't know...My mama and papa will likely have a high vet bill this time around. I feel terrible and I wish I could financially contribute to my bills. Also, my mama and papa are feeling really sad that I may need surgery. They are very worried about my outcome. Anyway, the vet is going to do one more enema on me before I go to bed tonight. I will keep you posted.
